Safe training of your patients COGNIMED is a monitoring system for cardiac rehabilita- tion, designed and optimized to restore and improve the fitness of patients entrusted to your care. COGNIMED al- lows you to coordinate and monitor you patients from a central workstation. The smart two-stage alarm manage- ment system lets you set upper and lower limits to ensure full control throughout the exercise training. In the case of any extreme violation of physiologically appropriate li- mits, non-suppressible alarms will be set off, increasing patient safety.

Other parameters such as blood pressure and SpO2 are likewise fully incorporated into the alarm concept, assuming these are recorded during exercie trai- ning. The centralized alarm display provides immediate in- formation about which exercise station is concerned and about the reason for the alarm. Auto-scaling means that the ECG is always presented in the same size to allow the best-possible assessment by the attending doctor. This makes reliable evaluation of the visible ECG at any time. If a preset maximum heart rate is exceeded, an option allows the workload to be reduced automatically.
