ReacTime

ReacTime makes it possible to take false starts and measure reaction times and explosive force without the need to lay cables.

The ReacTime modules, which are extremely compact, are fixed to the normal starting blocks. Each module includes a transceiver, a loudspeaker for relaying the starter’s orders and the firing of the starting gun, and a movement sensor.

The control module is at the disposal of the starter, who is informed of any false starts by a sound signal. It also stores the athlete’s time of reaction to the starting gun and the explosive force developed in the first, extremely important, moments of the race. The values thus obtained can be printed with the optional printer.
