FRAS SMART
It is now available for chemists and other health professionals, FRAS SMART, an integrated system that allows one to globally assess oxidative stress, by means of the d-ROMs test.
The d-ROMs test, the only test recommended by the international scientific community and by the International Observatory for Oxidative Stress, allows one to determine the blood concentration of reactive oxygen metabolites (ROMs) and, particularly, that of hydroperoxides, which are markers and amplifiers of free radicals-induced oxidative damage.
This method allows to measure the value of free radicals in capillary blood in a few minutes. It consists of a photometer, a mini-centrifuge and it works with a reagent called d-ROMs test. The value of the oxidative stress is measured in U Carr.™ and this measuring unit is recognized and utilized all over the world (this method is patented).
The chemist, by measuring free radicals, will be both an innovator in chemist's shop and responsible of its own social mission of satisfying the new wellbeing necessities of his own customers.
By using the method "FRAS d-ROMs test" it is possible to:
- RECOGNIZE with accuracy who has a high level of free radicals
- KNOW who needs antioxidants
- DOSE the correct quantity of antioxidants
- VERIFY the result and the efficiency of the antioxidants
- DECIDE the length of the treatment
Everyone should undergo the oxidative stress assessment, even if they are healthy, and even more if one is continuously exposed to pro-oxidant factors (i. e. incorrect life-style, pollutants in work environment, etc.) or it is suffering from chronic degenerative diseases (i. e. diabetes, atherosclerosis, dementia, Parkinson's disease, Chron's disease, Down's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, cancers, etc.) or, finally, if one undergoes some treatments (i.e. dialysis, by-pass, grafting, pill, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, etc.).
